TODDLERS

our toddler program

The Early Care & Education Toddler Program is designed to nurture curiosity, independence, and growth in a safe, supportive environment. We understand that the toddler years are a time of rapid development and exploration, and our experienced caregivers are dedicated to guiding your child through this exciting stage. Our classrooms are designed with safety and engagement in mind, filled with age-appropriate toys and activities that encourage learning through active play and hands-on discovery.

In our Toddler Program, we focus on helping children reach important developmental milestones like language development, motor skills, and socialization. Our caregivers use a structured yet flexible curriculum that balances guided learning and creative exploration, ensuring that each child feels encouraged and supported in their unique journey. Through interactive play, group activities, and individualized attention, we foster an environment where toddlers can build confidence, develop independence, and form positive relationships — all while being safe, well-cared for, and loved.

TODDLER CARE AND CURRICULUM

The Frog Street Toddler curriculum, designed by renowned early childhood expert Dr. Pam Schiller, provides a comprehensive, research-based approach to learning for children ages 18-36 months. Built on 52 weeks of engaging, developmentally appropriate activities, this curriculum nurtures toddlers’ growth through language-rich interactions, social-emotional learning, and hands-on exploration.

A Language-Rich learning Experience

Toddlers thrive in environments that immerse them in language, helping to develop both receptive and expressive communication skills. Frog Street Toddler introduces high-interest books, stories, songs, poems, and chants to captivate young learners and encourage early literacy.

Cognitive Development & Problem Solving

Through cause-and-effect activities, creative problem-solving tasks, and curiosity-driven exploration, toddlers develop foundational cognitive skills that will support a lifetime of learning. Activities encourage critical thinking, creativity, and curiosity to help toddlers make meaningful connections.

Physical Development & Active Play

Toddlers love to move, and Frog Street Toddler offers exciting action songs, movement games, and hands-on activities that build coordination, balance, and muscle strength. From tossing and catching to hopping and dancing, toddlers develop both gross motor and fine motor skills through active play.

Social-Emotional Growth

Frog Street Toddler places a strong emphasis on social-emotional development, helping children build confidence, practice impulse control, and develop positive social skills. The program incorporates Conscious Discipline®, a proven classroom management and emotional intelligence framework, to create a safe, loving environment where toddlers can express themselves, learn to manage emotions, and engage in healthy social interactions.

Music, Movement, & Fun!

With over 145 sing-along songs, Frog Street Toddler keeps little learners engaged through music, rhythm, and playful movement. These activities stimulate language development, coordination, and social bonding, making learning an exciting and joyful experience.
