MEET OUR DIRECTOR

Mrs. Shalonte is the dedicated School Director at Early Care and Education in Arlington, Texas. With a deep-rooted passion for Early Childhood Education, Mrs. Shalonte has been serving young learners and their families since 2014. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, combining sharp organizational leadership with a foundational commitment to educational excellence. 

Mrs. Shalonte joined our organization in January 2020. As Director, she champions a robust academic framework, integrating advanced STEM/STEAM models to foster a dynamic, forward-thinking, and engaging environment. Her leadership ensures that programs like Before & After School Care and Summer/Holiday Camp operate at the highest standards of safety, development, and enrichment. 

Outside of the classroom, Mrs. Shalonte is a proud Texas native, born and raised. In her free time, you can find her reading, spending time with family and friends, shopping, and trying new restaurants in the city. Her ultimate mission is to lead with integrity, accountability, and purpose while developing people to reach their highest potential. She strives every day to create an environment where children, families, and educators feel supported, valued, and empowered to grow.

My son has been coming here since he was 14 weeks old. He has loved each of his teachers and still stops by to say hi to former teachers daily. The whole staff from the front desk to dining services is friendly and knows my child as a person. They have been integral in his growth and development and act as a team with my husband and I to help meet his needs.

I love this facility. My middle child has been here since 6 weeks old and will be turning 8 years old in July. I have in total three children at this facility and we love them! I see them more as family than staff. They have all treated me and my children wonderfully and I can’t thank them enough! We will forever choose Arlington Early Care and Education. Thank you for taking care of my babies at their home away from home ♥️

I have 2 year old twin girls that have been at this daycare since they were 1 1/2 years old. I was afraid to leave them because this would be our first time apart. 1 year later we are still here. I have watched my children grow in so many ways. They are now social butterflies and have learned so much. The teachers are nice and caring to the children. I feel secure when I drop my kids off to their class!!! Great Daycare

This daycare has been such a wonderful experience for our family. The staff is caring, patient, and truly treats the children like family. My kids are always excited to go each day, which gives me so much peace of mind. The teachers create a safe, fun, and educational environment, and I have seen so much growth in my children since they started attending, especially in their social skills, confidence, and learning. The curriculum has really helped support my children’s development and prepare them for school. Communication is excellent, and I always feel informed about how my kids are doing. I am so thankful for the attention and care they give my children every day, and I would highly recommend this daycare to any parent looking for a place they can trust.
