Texas Education Freedom Accounts (TEFA) for Private Pre-K Tuition | 2026–2027

Texas Education Freedom Accounts (TEFA)

Texas Education Freedom Accounts (TEFA) is a state program that can help qualifying families pay for approved education expenses, including private Pre-K and kindergarten tuition at participating schools. Early Care & Education participates in TEFA at approved locations, giving eligible families another way to access a high-quality early learning experience for the 2026–2027 school year.

If your child receives a TEFA award, those funds may help offset private school tuition for Pre-K at a participating Early Care & Education campus, subject to program rules and classroom availability.

Why Families Choose Our Private Pre-K Program

We know choosing a Pre-K program is a big decision. Families want a place where their child feels safe, supported, and excited to learn, and that is exactly what we work to provide every day at Early Care & Education.

  •  Caring classrooms where children feel safe, seen, and supported
  •  A strong academic foundation that helps children feel ready for kindergarten
  •  Daily support for character development, confidence, and social-emotional growth
  •  Small class sizes that give teachers more time to know and support each child
  •  Experienced teachers who care deeply and build strong connections with children and families

We partner with families every step of the way, helping each child grow academically, socially, and emotionally in a place where they feel happy, supported, and ready to thrive.
